Training kitchens

The Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management has four full fledged training kitchens.The students will rotate all the four kitchens before completing the Three Year Program. The kitchens are planned by professional chefs taking into consideration all the aspects of students and instructor accessibility and the present professional Hotel Kitchens.

Pastry and Bakery are equipped to the international standards keeping in mind the student needs for skill development. Special equipment has been provided for the students in order to attain desired results in the field of sugar confectionery and Couverture Confectionery.


Training Restaurant

The Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management has a compact 35 cover fine-dine restaurant open for lunch on all working days and offers a contemporary classical menu with both table’hote and a’la carte facility. Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management
students prepare and serve the food using French and English food service styles in the formal dining room. A full fledged display bar has been provided to introduce the student chef to the basic principles of food and beverage service.

Keeping in mind the changing trends and hi-tech approach in the food service operations and professional kitchens, computer education is imparted to the students throughout the course. Shri Shakti College of Hotel Management has also placed due importance in the audiovisual education and has an 150 seated ultra modern A/c audio-visual classroom.

Front Office
Developed through the input of industry and academic experts, the front office department educates the student as per the demand of Hospitality employers. Method of teaching followed ensures that we bridge the gap between industry and academia.

Role playing, situation handling, automatic and non-automatic procedures are used for training. The lab is fully equipped with LCD computers and IDS – Hotel management software to update the students with latest technology used in Hotels.
